I'm a coward.

That's right, I'm a coward. Completely. I tell my dance students and friends every day to not care what others say about them - and I may think I feel that way, too. In some aspects, I do. It's taken me a long time to get to that point, but there are many things that I feel and say and do that I do not care what other people think about it. However, there are other things - big things - that I simply do not talk about. I don't mention these things, I don't share these things, I don't, well... You get the idea. So, today, I'm going to be just a WEE bit braver (more brave?), and admit these things on my own little blog that no one really reads. But hey - I'm putting it out there. Anyway... Here it goes. 10 things I am terrified for people to know. I will elaborate on all of them in posts to follow (along with those bridesmaid posts I need to finish).

1. I am Catholic, and I love it.
2. I am not into politics.
3. I am overweight, and I want to get healthy and have other people support me and join me in this journey.
4. I know very little about books and movies.
5. I over-exaggerate. A lot. More than people realize.
6. I think I'm pretty.
7. I am constantly afraid that I am losing my knowledge and intelligence.
8. I. Hate. Change. (And occasionally failure).
9. Because of #8 - I can tend to be close-minded.
10. I dislike debating things (which relates to #9 in a way).

Believe it or not - that was extremely difficult to write. My heart is literally racing right now. Some of these things I've admitted to a couple times - some of these things I have not. However, this 2012 year is a year of new beginnings. I am getting married in October, and I want to enter into that marriage as the best person I can possibly be. And that means - facing all those things I'm terrified of.

So, that concludes my just-a-tiny-bit-brave post about how much of a coward I am. Continuing on with explaining this list will be even more difficult. But, I think I can do it.
